  Position Summary
  Performs hemodynamic monitoring procedures of a highly specialized nature as well as assists the physician during all procedures.--Works with patients from adolescents to geriatrics. In addition trains Cardiovascular Technicians and other Cath Lab personnel.--Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.--
  Position QualificationsMINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of a certificate or degree granting program or post-secondary educational program in health science. or equivalent education--PREFERRED EDUCATION:--MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years of interventional Cath Lab or 2 years of Electrophysiology experience.--PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: NAREQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or--Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)--PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT)REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR):--

  • Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have--AHA Healthcare Provider BLS--within 60 days of hire
    
  • AHA ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role.
