Job Description:
Stamping - Machine Maintenance
Toyotetsu is a global full-service manufacturer of essential car
components, with capabilities in stamping, welding, and press
quenching. Considered one of the best stampers in the world, we
make an impact with three major car companies in the United States
with locations in Kentucky, Michigan, Alabama, Indiana, Texas,
Mexico, and Canada.
Positions available work a 4-week rotating shift and receive an
additional hour rotation pay.
Job Summary
Support plant by providing maintenance to the facilities,
machinery, and equipment.
Essential Job Functions
- Dismantle defective machines and/or equipment.
- Install new and/or repaired parts.
- Clean and lubricate machinery as necessary.
- Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers
and wiring, electrical and electronic components of machinery and
equipment.
- Assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related
hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators and
related equipment.
- Repair and maintain physical structure of facility.
- Install, program, or repair automated machinery and
equipment.
- Set up and operate machine tools to repair or fabricate machine
parts, jigs, fixtures, and tolls.
- Operate cutline torches or welding equipment.
- Fabricate and repair equipment as necessary.
- Must be flexible and able to work in all areas regardless of
duties listed above to accomplished established goals and
objectives. Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
- 2-year Certificate from college or technical school
- Technical competencies
- Knowledge of basic electricity or equivalent duties.
- Ability to read blueprints, electrical, hydraulic and
pneumatics schematics and circuit diagrams and use measurement
instruments and gauges. (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret operating and maintenance
instructions and procedures manually.
- Skilled in the use of various types of hand tools and power
equipment used in carpentry and general construction.
- Proficient in personal computer and software skills.

* Moderate to high noise levels.
* Exposure to welding dust and sparks
* Shift rotation (able to work 4-week rotating shifts - rotating
between days and nights).
* Schedule (able to work 12 hour shifts 5 - 7 days per week).
